Small businesses and start-ups have the same employment
law obligations as any other business in nearly all respects.
Boost’s Small Business Package is designed to make meeting those key obligations affordable and fast for even the smallest business.
For a very reasonable fixed cost we will
- Supply a package of documentation (including employment agreements and job description formats),
- Provide a total of two hours of HR advice (phone or email). This is available for a period of three months from the date of purchase of the package. You can call us and ask any HR question.
To give you some idea of the types of advice we are asked for here are some examples
- Questions relating to the use and enforceability of 90 Day Trial Periods
- Steps that can be taken to deal with performance or disciplinary issues
- Dealing with an employee who is regularly off sick or has a long-term illness or injury
- Dealing with Parental Leave requests
- Leave and pay matters
- Questions that you can (or can’t) ask in job interviews
- Health and Safety obligations
